In the latest (22 Nov 2008) episode of the Canadian science show Quirks and Quarks,

they ran a nine-minute segment on a study that discovered a special role

played by Bisexual males of one insect species. It was entitled: Dr. Sara Lewis discusses

how homosexual copulation can lead to procreation in the common flour beetle.

My favorite part of the segment was when they mentioned that,

while some cultural groups with moral opposition to homosexuality

like to claim that it's an unnatural act, "every biologist knows"

that there is plenty homosexual behavior in the natural world.
