Meant to tell you guys - if you read the Voice, I was in the crowd on the front cover a couple weeks back when they covered the Palin protest downtown. She was speaking at a fundraiser lunch, and there outside was a the "for" and "against" crowds. You can see a pretty good shot of me, and one of my coworkers with red hair, too. I was quite surprised to see it when it came out, cuz it was my very first protest, outside of a March for Animal Rights in DC I had gone to back in 1990 (my pre-college days, even). So yeah, there I am, politically outspoken and all, and in the photo I look very disapproving. grrrr

i need to post about the House episode where they portray 13 (one of the doctors) as a rather loose cannon and careless lover. It bugs the hell out of me actually, and I can't shake it. She is a self-proclaimed bisexual, who is dying of Huntington's disease (has about ten years to live) so she is sleeping around, and doing drugs, and comes across as someone with a death wish, I guess, thereby tying her career as a doctor to that of a promiscuous slut. Or something. No sir, I don't like the message that it sends.

aok, people. enjoy your halloween weekend. we are passing out candy and maybe hopping around to friends. anything new happening in the group? nothing seems to be on the calendar for the near future.
