BiNet USA, a 501C3 nonprofit organization, is the oldest national bisexual entity in the United States. It is a network of groups, projects and individuals, encouraging dialogue and participation as a way of creating and maintaining a cohesive bisexual community and empowering individuals to feel proud of their bisexuality.

GLAAD had a strong presence in North Texas during the early to mid-1990s. Back then, volunteers held workshops with local media from editors to photographers. They aimed at filling the knowledge gap about the LGBT community and connecting journalists with expert sources on the subject.

DGLA (Dallas Gay and Lesbian Alliance) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit political advocacy organization. DGLA advocates on behalf of the GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered) community and our allies through ongoing communication with elected officials and public staff, active leadership on public policy changes affecting our community, fighting acts of discrimination, and working with other organizations toward full GLBT equality in society.
DGLA advocacy programs include:
Advocating for domestic partnership healthcare benefits for City of Dallas employees.
Founded the Resource Center of Dallas in 1983 as a spin-off of DGLA.
Assisted in the establishment of other GLBT-related organizations, including the Collin County Gay and Lesbian Alliance (CCGLA), The Carrollton Project and other groups.
Working with North Texas media outlets to promote fair press coverage of issues affecting the GLBT community.

In order to liberate ourselves from this oppression, we must directly, visibly, and publicly confront it along with organizations, institutions, groups or individuals who support or promote discrimination toward the Queer community. We are a direct action group dedicated to building the Queer civil rights movement in order to secure our equality and end our oppression.

Out & Equal DFW works to promote GLBT workplace equality through networking and communications, community involvement, and visibility throughout the DFW Metroplex area. Out & Equal DFW educates and empowers organizations, HR professionals, employee resource groups (ERGs) and individual employees through programs and services that result in equal policies, opportunities, practices and benefits in the workplace regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, expression or characteristics.

A nonprofit organization that operates the John Thomas Gay & Lesbian Community Center, the AIDS Resource Center and Nelson-Tebedo Health Resource Center. The Center seeks to create awareness, foster understanding and fulfill the needs of the gay and lesbian community through educational, health and social programs.

The 22nd National Conference on LGBT Equality: Creating Change will be held at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel in beautiful downtown Dallas, Texas, February 3 - 7, 2010. Produced by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, the Creating Change Conference (as it is affectionately known) is the nation’s pre-eminent political, leadership and skills-building conference for the LGBT social justice movement. Since 1988, Creating Change has been the opportunity for thousands of committed people to develop and hone their skills, celebrate victories, build community, and to be inspired by visionaries of our LGBT movement and allied movements for justice and equality.

Equality March Texas (EMT) is a direct action LGBT advocacy group based in Dallas, TX that seeks to recruit and empower activists from all over the Lone Star State.

We are a non-partisan, "radically inclusive" group which employs tried and true direct action tactics (rallies, protests, marches etc.) and a focus on community building by working to eliminate racial, social, religious, cultural and gender based barriers within the LGBT Movement.
