Dallas; On Sunday, September 20th, 2009, Equality March Texas and Equality Across America will host activist Cleve Jones at Buzz Brew's Kitchen, 4334 Lemmon Ave. Jones will be in Dallas promoting the National Equality March scheduled forOctober 10-11th in Washington D.C.
From his days working along side pioneer LGBT rights leader, Harvey Milk, to the creation of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, the NAMES Project and the organization of the upcoming October 11th LGBT March on Washington, Cleve's work has helped shape the lives of millions of people the world over. Join us as the human rights activist, author and lecturer recounts a lifetime of activism and outlines the future of the LGBT Rights Movement.
